European E-customs Event
Friday, June 15th, 2007The European Commission aims to implement pan-European electronic customs systems in order to make customs clearance more efficient, to reduce administrative burdens and to allow a seamless flow of data between export and import countries.
All Member States are in process of integrating and operating secure and accesible electronic customs systems. All companies wishing to import and export goods into and out of the European Union will be required to perform all customs clearance processes in an electronic way as of July 2009.
Porthus closely monitors this evolution and offers a complete and integrated solution, which enables companies to manage their customs declaration and clearance processes in an efficient, electronic way. Furthermore the Porthus solution includes modules such as bonded warehouse. The solution integrates the company’s back-end system with the required software to manage electronic customs declarations.
Come and find out more at the next edition of Porthus @ the docks at The Ark, Antwerp on June 27th.
