Forum on trends and expectations in logistics in Slovakia

Friday, September 21st, 2007

October 18, 2007 will host the 1st Slovak Logistics Forum, catering for logistics professionals, named SLOVLOG.  SLOVLOG is a unique Slovak b2b event organized by ATOZ EVENT, an event organisation that caters for retail and logistics professionals.

The SLOVLOG Forum builds on the experience of running similar successful events in the Czech Republic, and the launch of LOG-IN Slovakia in February 2007, which brought together over 150 logistics decision makers to share their problem solving practices of logistics processes and innovations. The market keynote sessions which are expected to be covered at SLOVLOG, should encompass such issues as the dramatic absence of human resources and talents across all skills and positions, the evolution of transport flows and its perspectives, important legislation changes, bringing new methods into operation, long-term discussed implementation of the road-toll, investments into state-run logistics parks or introduction of new information and communication technologies in logistics.

Each presentation or panel discussion is designed on an interaction module: key industry players will express their point of view regarding specific topics related to the industry.

Pieter Haesaert of C4T has been invited as guest speaker to SLOVLOG.  He will take part in the panel discussion.

The participants will be given the opportunity to question any subject and make comments on information and opinions given.

SLOVLOG is complemented with an original networking program – Logistics Business Mixer, which helps to gain personal contacts and business opportunities among participants.
