The start of PLDA is planned on Monday 3 December 2007. In principle, this meant the end of Sadbel.

After consultation between customs authorities and private sector it was decided that Sadbel can still be used till 4 February 2008 (in parallel with PLDA), in order to give the operators the chance to start in optimal circumstances. However, this does not mean that companies need to wait with the implementation of PLDA.
