Workshop: Harmonized System Update (training in Dutch)

The Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, better known as the the harmonized system of the HS, is one of the most successful trade facilitation instruments developed. In 2007 a total of 354 changes with focus on high tech products were made to the Harmonized System. This workshop is designed to provide the necessary understanding of these changes for your business.
Participant profile
Importers, exporters, manufacturers, clearing agents, and legal advisers will benefit from this course which focuses on the changes of the Harmonized System. A basic understanding of the general interpretative rules is essential to profit fully from this training programme.
Training methods
This afternoon workshop will focus on presentation and interactive discussions. It is recommended that participants refresh their knowledge of the Harmonized System before attending the course.
