Frequently asked questions

All your questions answered by our speakers and C4T experts!

There are quite a few Knowledge Base articles about decision tables, but they are quite short and do not help show how they should be filled out. Are there plans to improve these?

We are aware that some of the documentation can be improved, but with all the migrations at the moment, our priorities are focused on those. However, if you have particular articles in mind, please submit a support ticket, and we can prioritise updating them based on your feedback.

Will the new phytosanitary requirements for shipments into the UK be integrated into CAS (like GVMS), or will this have to be done separately through IPAFS?

Currently, IPAFS are not integrated, and there are no immediate plans to do so. However, we have an active support offering that could help, and you should talk with your Customer Success Manager. Also, HMRC will introduce a dedicated API for IPAFS, and in the longer term, we will integrate with that system.

Are you sure C4T can migrate us to the new Belgium customs systems in time?

We are very confident that we can do that. We are in close contact with the customs authorities, but it will all depend on the test systems on the customs side; that is the limiting factor, but from a product side of things, there is no doubt that we will be ready.

I’m interested in the EMCS integration for the UK. When will I be able to start using that in CAS?

For the UK, we are confident that we can deliver it by the end of Q1 2024.

I didn’t know about a lot of the presented new features. What’s the best way for me to stay updated on all new deliveries?

We have two things: first, there is a monthly newsletter with the release notes. Those can also be found within the Customer Support portal in the Help Center, and there is a knowledge base article that lists all the past release notes. Second, we also have a bi-weekly release where we choose one item or feature to highlight, you will see this alert within the CAS platform (the bell in the top right corner), and this is one of the most important features that impact all users.
